My primary research interests lie in the intersection between basic and translational small molecule research—both in using small molecules as tools to manipulate cellular systems and in drug discovery and repurposing for therapeutic purposes. In Dr. DeCaprio’s lab I am working on identifying new therapeutic vulnerabilities in polyomavirus-positive Merkel cell carcinoma. When I’m not in the lab, I enjoy keeping plants and painting.
