I earned a bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, in the College of Creative Studies. I am currently a virology Ph.D. student in the DeCaprio and Meyerson labs. My research interests involve the computational analysis of microbial sequencing data, often but not always in the context of cancer. Despite my research being mostly computational, I do go to the bench from time to time.
