I am a PhD candidate in the Virology program at Harvard Medical School. My major research interests lie in cancer biology and understanding how alterations in signaling pathways promote cancer progression. My specific focus is on viral cancers and how viral oncogenes promote tumorigenesis. My ongoing research in the DeCaprio lab seeks to identify defects in the DNA damage response in Merkel Cell Carcinoma and how this impacts patients' response to treatment.
